Who we are Mrs S. Bartlett Miss E. Beattie About RS At Kings we ‘study’ religion which means that we build upon and move beyond the Religious Education students have experienced in KS1 & KS2. In Religious Studies lessons students will learn about the principal religions in Great Britain, Humanism and Philosophy. This enables pupils to develop respect for and sensitivity to others, in particular those whose faiths and beliefs are different from their own. KS3 In KS3 Religious Studies we lay the foundations for GCSE, A level and beyond preparing pupils for adult life, employment and lifelong learning It encourages students to develop their sense of identity and belonging enabling them to flourish individually, within their communities and as citizens in a multi-faith and multi-cultural society and globally.
