Transition from Primary School

Information packs have now been sent to parents of students starting year 7 in September 2017. Please take the time to read through the information booklet and also please complete and return the blue forms in the envelope provided by 9th June.

Student Handbook

When your child joins Kings they will be given a Student Handbook. This handbook has been written by the current students and is full of useful information that will make their transition to Kings much easier and answer all those questions that your child wants to know before their first day . Please take the time to read this with your child.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my child be in a set for any subjects?
Yes, In English and maths, but all other subjects in year 7 are taught in tutor groups.

What will my child study?
Maths and English - taught in ability sets.
Science, geography, history, religious studies, French, German, art, technology, P.E, dance, drama and ICT
