Opaque black or flesh colour tights or white/black socks.

Black College trousers, plain and or College skirt (style specified). Skirt to be approximately knee length. (Trousers not to be skinny leg/fashion/jeans variety).


Black leather shoes with low heels (no plimsolls/canvas shoes or Vans.)

Black v necked long sleeved jumper with short rib at bottom and cuffs (optional)




All uniform items to be of a style commonly identifiable as “College uniform” wear, fashion items are not acceptable.

Topcoats should be smart dark blue/black wear. Hooded sweatshirts are not an acceptable alternative to a topcoat. We recommend parents consider attaching reflective road safety strips to student’s coats.

Jewellery: Students may wear a watch and a maximum of one small stud in the lobe of each ear. All jewellery must be removed for PE.

Hair must be in sensible styles only; no extremes of fashion, hair must be any natural colour, it should be grade two or longer, no undercuts or cut out decorations.

Make Up: A little light (discreet) make-up is permitted in years 10 and 11. Nail varnish is not to be worn. Acrylic nails are NOT permited in College.

Mobile phones are permitted in College but are not to be used in lessons or in-between lessons. The student’s phone must be switched off and in their bag before going into lessons. If a phone is seen out during lessons or in-between lessons, the phone will be confiscated and sent to Student Reception. The phone can then be collected at the end of the College day. If a phone is seen out for a second time the phone will be confiscated, handed to the Head of College, and will not be returned for a week.

Dance lessons: students must have loose clothing for dance lessons (no jeans)

The College cannot accept any liability for damage or loss to valuables brought into the College. All valuables must be kept in the lock box during PE lessons.


You are expected to come to College with the following basic equipment for every lesson:
Pen – blue/black (and a spare), Coloured pens/pencils, Pair of compasses, Calculator, Protractor, Pencil, Pencil eraser, Pencil sharpener, Ruler - You should have a bag big enough to fit an A4 folder in to carry your books and equipment around the site. Maths sets and scientific calculators are available to purchase from the maths department.

PE Kit – All students must have:

Trainers (not plimsolls)
Blue long sleeve top with College logo 
Shin Pads
Rugby Top (KS3)
Swim Kit (KS3) 

Base Layer (white or royal blue)
Tracksuit bottoms with College logo
Lightweight waterproof jacket with College logo
Astros for all weather pitch

All students should have a complete correct change of clothes for P.E. Showers facilities are available. For reasons of hygiene and comfort students should not dress after the lesson, in clothes, which have just been worn for P.E.
